Q. What is E-iSERV?
A. This is an internet service system provided by ECLIPSE. E-iSERV distributes contents and softwares, making ECLIPSE functions easier and more useful.
Q. Is E-iSERV a fee-based service?
A. It is available free of charge, except for communication charges.
Q. How can I use the E-iSERV service?
A. After purchasing products supported by the E-iSERV service, register as a user from the E-iSERV top page, and then log in to use various types of services.
Q. Is the E-iSERV service available 24 hours a day?
A. This service is available 24 hours a day, but sometimes it needs to be stopped for periodic maintenance or in the case of failures.
Q. What is displayed in "information" of the E-iSERV top page?

Q. Is it necessary to enter personal information to register as a user?
A. Yes, the information we ask for is the minimum required.Your information data will be managed strictly under our privacy policy.
Q. How can I delete the registered personal information?
A. Contact our support center (eiserv@lao.ten.fujitsu.com).
Q. I have finished registration, but the service is not available.
A. If you have not completed the registration, the service is not available. To complete the registration process, click the URL sent to your e-mail address, and then enter the password once again.
Q. What should I enter to the Unit Identifier?
A. A nickname to identify multiple units of the same type.
Q. What is the User Registration Key?
A. An ID to identify a valid user of the supported products.It's the 16 digit alphanumeric ID of your main unit.
Q. I'm not sure of the User Registration Key.
A. How to display the User Registration Key varies depending on your model. Refer to the instruction manual of the product.
Q. I forgot the password.
A. Click "Did you forget your password?" on the top page, and then follow the instructions.
Q. When using the previously registered e-mail address to register as a new user, an error message displays.
A. It is not possible to use the previously registered e-mail address to register as a new user.
Q. Can I use a email address of a cell-phone to register my account?
A. No, you cannot use a mail address of a cell-phone.Please use a web-email address.
Audio Customize
Q. What is the Audio Customize service?
A. This is a service that customizes the acoustic characteristics inside the vehicle. While the settings can be configured in the product, the service enables you to configure the settings with a larger screen by using your PC.
Q. Is Audio Customize operable in environments other than the recommended ones?
A. Operation is not guaranteed in environments other than those recommended.
Q. Which folder of the Memory Stick / Memory Stick Duo is used to store the frequency-characteristic files to be uploaded to the server?
A. The files are stored in the MSFTEN\SOUND folder under the root folder.
Q. Which folder of the Memory Stick / Memory Stick Duo or CD-R can I use to store the files downloaded from the server for uploading to the product?
A. Create a MSFTEN\DATA folder under the root folder and store the files. If using a CD-R, store them in the root folder. Otherwise, the files cannot be displayed.
Q. Are there any restrictions on the file name with Audio Customize?
A. Use the files with the original names, because they are named according to the rules.
Q. What is the difference between configuring the settings in the E-iSERV page and the product?
A. The settings in the E-iSERV page are basically identical to ones in the product. However, the automatic correction function can only be set in the E-iSERV page.
Q. What is the Custom mode?
A. This is a mode that adjusts parameters (such as delay and speaker level) with the finer range.
Q. What is the difference between services in 2004 and 2005 / 2006?
A. The 2005 / 2006 service supports the Custom mode, the wider range of the speaker systems, and Parametric EQ setting in the Easy mode.
Q. What is the automatic correction?
A. In this function, the server automatically makes the correction depending on the mode (Normal, Low range emphasis, Low/High range emphasis, Middle range emphasis), rather than users configuring the Parametric EQ setting manually.
Q. Where is the base position for the Time Alignment setting?
A. Use the left front driver's seat position as a basis.
Area Shot
Q. What is the Area Shot service?
A. This is a service that searches for a route when users set a start point and destination. The output is guidance points and their associated maps.
Q. Is Area Shot operable in environments other than the recommended ones?
A. Operation is not guaranteed in an environment other than the recommended ones.
Q. What type of storage media can be used to load the data downloaded from the Area Shot to the product?
A. Memory Stick / Memory Stick Duo or CD-R can be used.
Q. Which folder on the Memory Stick / Memory Stick Duo do I store the AST files downloaded from the server?
A. Create a MSFTEN\AREA folder under the root folder and store the files there. Otherwise, the files cannot be displayed.
Q. Which folder on the CD-R do I store the AST files downloaded from the server?
A. Store them in the root folder. Otherwise, the files cannot be displayed.
Q. Are there any restrictions on the file name?
A. It can be specified with 8 alphanumeric characters (not including the extension). The file extension is ".ast".
Q. The data cannot be loaded from the Memory Stick / Memory Stick Duo or CD-R to the product.
A. Check the file name or file location.
Q. Are there any requirements (writing format, etc.) to write data to a CD-R?
A. ISO9660 Level1 or Level2 must be used.

A. Up to 48 points (including a start point and destination).
Q. How often is the data updated?
A. The data will be updated once a year.

Q. What is the Motion Picture service?
A. This is a service that puts together multiple still images to create a movie, which is playable on the display of the supported terminal.
Q. Is CuttingBoard operable in environments other than the recommended ones?
A. Operation is not guaranteed in environments other than those recommended.
Q. When loading the files created by CuttingBoard to the product, the "FILE ERR" message displays.
